Privacy
How the proposed recruitment software is designed to handle information. A final legally approved notice is required before personal data collection starts.
Status: This is a prelaunch explanation, not a final privacy notice. Public employer registration and candidate applications are disabled. No live applicant data should be submitted.
Who is responsible?
HireWaypoint is the provisional product name. The legal operator and dedicated privacy contact have not yet been confirmed. These details must be published before collecting personal data. Employers posting vacancies will ordinarily decide why and how applicant information is used; HireWaypoint is intended to process that information on their behalf under appropriate terms.
Information the service is designed to process
Employer account names, work emails, job descriptions, relevant candidate-provided experience, interview scheduling details, operational audit records and limited subscription identifiers. Payment card details are intended to be processed by Stripe rather than stored in HireWaypoint's application database.
Purposes and AI
Use would be limited to account authentication, recruitment administration, candidate communication as authorised by employers, billing and information security. Where enabled, job-relevant information may be provided to an AI processor to generate advisory summaries. Hiring and rejection remain human decisions. AI summaries can be inaccurate.
Lawful basis, retention and transfers
Final controller/processor arrangements, lawful bases, retention periods, international transfers, data-processing agreements and subprocessors have not yet been approved. We will not claim these controls are complete or enable public collection until they are.
Your rights
Applicants should be able to contact the hiring employer about access, correction, erasure and other applicable rights. A dedicated platform privacy contact and operational request workflow must be verified prior to launch.
Security and cookies
The planned service uses HTTPS, authenticated employer sessions and business-data isolation, subject to production verification. Essential session cookies would be needed for signed-in services. Analytics/marketing cookies will not be added without appropriate disclosures and controls.
